WHL is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)!

DSPs are the foundation of the services that we provide. As a DSP, you will have the opportunity to powerfully impact the lives of all the people we support.

To become a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check, have a desire to help people, and have reliable transportation to ensure you can arrive at work on time.

Residential Positions

In our homes, you have the opportunity to work with a smaller team and support 3-4 people that live there.

Positions in our homes are typically afternoons/evenings, graveyards, and anytime on the weekends. Residential services runs 24X7!

Day Programs

Day services provides an activity based environment for people who are not attending school or working during the day.

Day programs are immersed in the Exploration program out in the community and fun stuff for people who would rather stay in! Hours for our day programs are typically Monday through Friday from around 7am to 6PM.

After-School Programs

Designed to give school-age children and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities a positive place for learning and fun in the afternoon and evening hours. These programs primarily run Monday through Saturday, with some Sunday shifts as well. Day hours are also available during the summer break.
